Located on over 200 acres of lush forest and lawns, Mt. Washington Forever offers inspiring views from the highest vantage point in the area.

Even before the cemetery was founded in 1900, the property was widely renowned for its natural beauty and was used as an amusement park and botanical garden for decades.

Improvements and New Projects

Since taking over ownership of the overgrown cemetery in 1999, Forever Enterprises has restored and refurbished historic buildings and gardens throughout the park. New roads, garden signs, and water features are now completed, as well as several major construction projects.

Forever LifeStory Console

At Forever, we believe its time cemeteries offered more than a name and date etched in stone. That's why each Forever cemetery is a Library of Lives, storing thousands of LifeStories™ chapters, made from video and film clips, photos, written and spoken words.

Our LifeStories™ specialists work with each family to gather their most cherished memories and assemble a LifeStories™ chapter that captures the essense of a personality.

Visitors use unique touchscreens and theaters throughout the cemetery to view individual LifeStories™ chapters. Every LifeStories™ chapter is captured forever as part of our permanent collection. Provided to the family on DVD and VHS, Forever LifeStories™ are also available through the internet at forever-studios.com.

Memorial and Burial Options

Solid white marble columns grace the main entrance to the stunning new chapel mausoleum. From a prominent hilltop location, the classical building overlooks a beautiful new lake and water garden.

France Mausoleum

With thousands of new indoor and outdoor mausoleum spaces and cremation niches, the elegant new structure offers the advantages of above ground entombment at a price any family can afford.

Inside, polished marble floors and soaring ceilings welcome visitors in climate-controlled comfort. A wall of glass, vast skylights, and the warmth of natural wood beams create an uplifting atmosphere not usually associated with mausoleums.
